=thebebop5 says about the "believe" campaign: "it's part of a campaign that the previous mayor, martin o'malley, started to make people more aware that they are responsible for keeping baltimore alive and beautiful. it's grown to be a city-wide mantra of sorts. And the city didn't just put the signs up in normal places, they also would do things like smack stickers onto the side of a street light pole, or on the back of a "no parking" sign...makes it very down to earth, and gets peoples' attention."
