That guy's name is Jimmy Webb. He has been a salesman there for years and a good one, patient, cool. He sold my daughter an outrageous pair of tall striped Doc Martin boots. (indulgent papa). He's such a fixture the New Yorker published a profile of him. [link]

trash and vaudeville by =rhapsouldize Color street. A little outside the norm, but sometimes it is necessary. I found it funny that the trashy lookin guy under the sign would have had his profile published in the New Yorker! Goes to show you that looks aren't everything, and showing off a little belly isn't just for the girls anymore! The photographer makes a surprise appearance it seems in the mirror above.
