After months of frustration and fights with the computer, I finally finished my Web site! I'm very relieved, and now I can get some business cards that will be useful. Hope you're all doing well... Hi! So it seems that the cold weather was the driving force in causing my Pentacon to overlap frames. I shot it in the warm weather the other day (the only day that was warm in the past few months), developed the roll, and got it back with no overlaps. All of the frames were perfectly spaced apart. Now I just have to test the shutter speeds, because they seem a little slow.

Hey, all. I hope you're doing well, despite the cold weather (at least over on the East Coast!) and the crappy economy. I'm keeping afloat, but am a little worried about the immediate future. I try to think positively, but after sending out numerous applications, resumes, and cover letters without hearing a word back from the companies, one can get a little discouraged.

Anyway... onto something a little cheerier... I'll be spending the second week in March in Nicaragua, which I'm really excited about. A friend of Hunter's and mine is in Peace Corps in Nagarote, so we'll be staying with him and his wife. It's going to be really hot, so it will be a nice change of temperature for me! Can't wait.

I posted a new blog last night with some more 35mm scans. I would have some 120mm scans to show you, but my Pentacon is experiencing an overlap issue. I loaded it according to directions every time, rocking the lever back and forth, pulling it tightly, etc., so I'm hoping it's just the cold weather. I'll wait until it gets a little warmer to take it out again.

Hi! Hope you're all doing well. I've had an up-and-down week. I got a lot accomplished, but I caught a small dose of the flu from the kids I babysit, which kept me inside for all of yesterday. I hate losing an entire day! I did, however, receive my Pentacon Six in the mail, with an 80mm lens I got for really cheap and a few rolls of 120 film. I haven't loaded film in it yet, but I will tomorrow before I go out to shoot with my old coworker. I'm excited to use it, but afraid I'll mess up while loading the film.
