Hi! I am so proud of myself. Instead of just sitting around and doing nothing today like I had planned to, since I haven't had much relaxing time lately, I got rid of three carloads worth of stuff that I don't need. Old, beat-up tables, old mail that I've never even looked at, lots of knick-knacks, et cetera, et cetera. I am getting ready for my exodus to Europe!

You all better get ready... hehehe. One year from now, I hope to be in wonderful Europe, so if anyone has a couch they want to lend out for a few nights, let me know!

I need to start planning ahead... and saving money... something I'm not very good at. I hope to work on that in the next few months, as well as pay off my camera. Oops. In October, my one-year zero-percent interest is going to expire, so I hope I can roll my balance over onto another credit card. I can't afford to pay interest!
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. I discovered two great causes on deviantArt this weekend. One is =
DevKids, a new club started by =
estudio. Here is a blurb from the club's journal:
"In a nutshell, what we plan on doing is to help unfortunate and impoverished children to step into our world. We have been living too long to brag about gears, great photos, and judging other's works. Now it's time to share that wonderful experience to those who may not have the chance in their lives to explore the wonders of photography. Through guidance, we will bring these children out, let them take their shots, and we'll be printing them and exhibit then sell them. FULL proceeds of each shot sold will be channeled to the homes that fund these children. This is the magic of DevKids."
I think it's wonderful, and I really hope to help out a lot in the future with that effort. I encourage everyone to check it out, watch the club, and see if there's anything they can do to help unfortunate children in their area.
The second club I discovered is *
deviant-ARCADE, which was begun by `
dibbi to help bring exposure to unknown art and artists. I think it's awesome... you all know I love to feature artists in my journal. And of course, if you have a subscription, you should feature new artists too. That's one of the best ways on dA to give exposure to art that needs more recognition!
Speaking of features, here are some new ones I've come across in the past few days. Enjoy the features and the last bit of your weekends!

I am very excited to be featuring Natasha's work this week. She is relatively new to dA, and she has already received two DDs! If you look into her gallery, you will see why.

She is able to capture the essence of human life so well. I hope you enjoy her work as much as I do!

Hehehe. Nothing to see here in this small town where sometimes even the trees get bored and fall over people's cars.
Have a good Monday!
